Advertising: Moving Company
A Thoughtful Shift in the message & image for a moving company.
When this moving company came to me, they were looking to temporarily pivot their print advertising strategy — shifting from a purely service-driven message to something more heartfelt. Their goal was to express gratitude to customers for trusting them during a time when the world shut down, while still staying on-brand and recognizable.
I developed a visual concept that balanced warmth and professionalism. Using Adobe Photoshop, I created a custom image of hands forming a heart — a small but meaningful gesture — while wearing work gloves that matched the style of their movers. This subtle touch added authenticity and an emotional layer that connected directly to their audience.
With the imagery in place, I moved into layout and design using Adobe InDesign, incorporating their signature brand blue and logo to ensure cohesion across marketing materials. To enhance user experience and create a seamless next step, I included a QR code that directed customers to their website for easy access to services and booking.
The final piece delivered the client’s new message with clarity and impact — a strong visual and emotional statement that stood out in a typically practical industry
